FLUX mining officially ended on October 25th, 2025, at block height 2,020,000, following the latest official announcement from the FLUX team and the upcoming v9.0.0 network upgrade. Flux hybrid consensus mechanism of POW and POS shifted to PoUW, i.e., POW+POS → PoUW V2.

Rocket pool's codebase is currently undergoing comprehensive security audits. Sigma Prime completed their review a few weeks ago, and Cantina finished last week. Their team is now addressing the Cantina findings while working with Bailsec on their ongoing audit.

The quality of work from Rocket pool's audit partners has been exceptional. Both Cantina and Bailsec have identified issues that require substantial code changes. While this means more work for them - these discoveries will make the protocol more secure and resilient. Bailsec still has two weeks remaining in their audit cycle, and given their recent momentum, Rocket pool anticipate additional findings that will need attention.

Consequently, Rocket pool need extra time for implementing fixes and running additional testing. They just launched Devnet-4 with Saturn 1 code to test changes made since Devnet-3, but they need a 5th devnet once Bailsec completes their work.
